Pepper Roasting Machine

The industrial-sized Pepper Roasting Machine (or Roasting Tunnel) is a critical pre-processing equipment designed for roasting large quantities of products, particularly red capia peppers, eggplant, and sometimes tomatoes, at a standardized quality.
This machine perfectly prepares the product for the peeling stage that follows the roasting process.

- Products are placed onto a high heat-resistant conveyor belt (grill or modular belt), typically made of stainless steel.
- Powerful burners (lamella or Bunsen-type), usually running on LPG or Natural Gas, are activated from the bottom and/or top of the machine. These burners apply high heat (around $700^\circ C$) directly or indirectly to the surface of the peppers.
- The high heat quickly burns (roasts) the outer surface of the pepper but prevents the fleshy interior from being fully cooked, achieving just the necessary softness for the skin to be easily separated.
- The belt speed is precisely adjusted via the control panel based on the pepper's thickness and the desired degree of roasting. This determines how long the product remains in the machine.
- Roasted peppers are typically transferred at the end of the belt by an elevator to the next stage (e.g., an automatic peeling machine).
